Our Transport Section Leader, Colin Jackson, is moving away from the area at the end of October and we will be looking for someone to take over this role. Care is always looking at ways to improve our communication and would like to start to use e-mail more to keep you informed of our activities. If you are interested please send an e-mail to email@example.com just saying "yes".
Our Treasurer, Mike Moss, would be grateful if you could let him have the money in your boxes (a cheque may be sent to him at "Woodstock", Boyn Hill Avenue, Maidenhead) and also any expense claim forms by the middle of December to enable him to complete the end of year accounts. Many thanks.
Diary DatesOur COFFEE MORNING this autumn is on Saturday, 14th October 2017, at St. Joseph's Church from
10a.m. to 12noon. It is an opportunity for you to bring along your boxes for emptying, but we would also
like you to join us for coffee and a chat.
Care has our usual "crocks" and "bric-a-brac" stall at this year's COMBINED CHARITIES FAIR which is
taking place onSaturday, 4th November 2017, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Town Hall. If you have any good quality bric-a-brac you would like to pass on to us it would be appreciated. Help is required on Friday evening for the setting up and also on the Saturday.
The Christmas "Get-Together" this year will be on Thursday, 7th December 2017, at St. Peter's Church.
