Who are we?

Maidenhead Care is local charity providing Good Neighbour help and practical support for the elderly, unwell or disadvantaged people of Maidenhead.

One of our important roles is to provide transport for those who are unable to use public transport to get to medical appointments. We can also provide a friendly ear for someone who is lonely and would welcome a visit from a volunteer and a cup of tea together.
You can read more about us here>>.

Unfortunately we can only consider requests from people living within 3 miles of Maidenhead Town Centre, outside this area help is available from other similar
organisations which we have listed here>>

What we do

Our volunteers donate their time freely to provide

How does it work?

Call 07538 418448 on weekdays between 9.00am and 5.00pm and talk to the Duty Officer. They will discuss with you your requirements and circumstances either over the phone or arrange for a volunteer to visit.

Once you are accepted as a client you just ring and ask for assistance and the duty officer will arrange for one of our volunteers to help. More details are provided here>>.

Can you help?

Do you have any spare time and would like to help in the local community? A few hours of your time can make all the difference, we explain more here>>.

What donation is required?

As a non profit making charity we only ask for a donation towards our overheads for providing the transport services. The suggested donations are outlined here>>.
